Koocha was founded in 2018 as Bristol’s first totally vegan restaurant – a plant pioneer, we’ve led the way for animal-free cuisine across the city. 

What really sets us apart though is the big, unexpected and delicious spices and flavours from Persia and the Middle East that infuse every dish in our bountiful menu.

Our food is as fresh as it comes, sourced locally and sustainably, everything is made from scratch by our talented team. And whether you’re vegan or not, we pride ourselves on our seductive fare – even the most devout meat eaters have declared their love after a meal at one of our tables.

“Growing up in a house filled with the delights of Persian cuisine has inspired me to create Koocha and share my wonderful childhood memories.”

Noda Marvani, Creator and Head Chef

After earning her stripes in the kitchen of her father’s restaurant, Creator and Head Chef Noda Marvani took over the family business to create a Persian, plant-based paradise that’s the first of its kind in the south west. 

Many recipes have been passed down for generations and are the result of a lifetime of experimentation. We’ve revamped and rebooted them to create modern dishes that are rooted in tradition and designed to be shared with family and friends. 

The Koocha vision

The buzzy city of Bristol is our home but we have exciting plans for the future, with a vision to bring a slice of Persia to more locations across the country.
